In your test environment, you can manually unlock the vdi using:

dog vdi lock unlock  <VDI>

I test Sheepdog two weeks, I have a problem.
When use qemu-img info test ,It ok:
qemu-img info sheepdog:10.0.0.183:7000:test3
image: sheepdog:10.20.102.183:7000:test3
file format: raw
virtual size: 22G (23622320128 bytes)
disk size: 22G
When use qemu-system-x86_64 start vm，fail :
/usr/local/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 --drive file=sheepdog:10.0.0.183:7000:test3,cache=writeback
qemu-system-x86_64: --drive file=sheepdog:10.0.0..183:7000:test3,cache=writeback: could not open disk image sheepdog:10.20.102.183:7000:test3: Driver 'sheepdog' is not whitelisted
I find no way to fix this , can someone help me , tks!
My  sheepdog version is 0.9.50
My qemu version is 2.2.0
