Hello Germany! There are 2 ways to get the XML out. The first save the files directly from the web interface by clicking on the 'XML' icons beside each menu item on the left ( Packages, Profiles, Hosts ). The second option is to use the "get_xml" bash script in the 'scripts' directory of the package. This allows you to run it as a cron job, etc... And is the preferred method. get_xml downloads the XML from the web interface, and then runs it through xmllint to verify it's in good form before leaving it for WPKG to use. It would be interesting to see a SQL integration of wpkg, but at this time...
