It is not very clear to me what you mean.

In #3, you write that you made a mistake (what mistake? configuration mistake?)
and that it works fine for you now - do I understand you correctly?

Then, you ask where using logon delay might be useful - again, do I understand
you correctly?

Please, be more specific, otherwise it's hard to help - please see what you
just wrote and how I understand it:
