You're reporting a bug for WPKG client while this looks more like a (known and
fixed) problem of WPKG itself.

Recently error handling in case of full event log has been improved in WPKG
(wpkg.js) version 1.0.2 and 1.1.0-M5. So make sure to use this or a newer
version.
Which version are you currently running?

NEW: Improved handling of event log system errors. In case writing to event log
     causes an exception WPKG will not exit silently any more but fall back to
     write to STDOUT and log to the log file as appropriate (depending on log
     level). Thanks to Brian May for reporting and debugging.
     This fixes Bug 109.


So I am marking this report as WORKSFORME. Please change if I misunderstood
something and the problem still exists.
