I have a crash with WPKG client 1.3.9 on windows XP sp3 (up to date):

szModVer : 1.0.0.13     offset : 0000a704

The same configuration works with http://www1.wpkg.org/files/client/beta/1.3.6/
and with disableing offline mode.
