Hello Sebastian,
it was me who had problems - and the problem cannot be solved with Cygwin
1.7.1.
Installation process first run to the end with the version 1.7.2.2.
Better, you use the latest version.
I call a script from wpkg "install-cygwin.cmd", where I copy the
installation base of Cygwin
to the target PC and then run the installation.
Now, following line works for my environement:
C:\temp\Cygwin\setup.exe -q -R "%cygpath%" -L -l
C:\temp\Cygwin\%_ipath%\release > nul
Kind regards,
Johannes Brix

Hi,
I'm facing the same problem with Cygwin, WPKG and a freeze on MD5 check.
I know, it was a few months ago, but have you finally solved this problem
?
I thought it was a traditionnal "buffer" problem ( running setup with
command line shows a lot of log lines ), and tried to redirect the setup
command line using "> NUL" at the end, but it does not matter.
Also tried to execute in a separate environment with "cmd /c command"
but this does not show setup at all.
Regards.
