[wpkg-users] Uninstalling software

I guess I am missing something here. Our previous sys admin had 
installed alot of "junk" via wpkg prior to him leaving and I am in need 
of removing it. I know how to install software and upgrade it... but how 
would I go about removing it from the client pc's? Simply remove the 
entry from the packages.xml? If so how does it know what command to run 
to uninstall? Maybe someone can clarify this for me. Thanks!
