Yes - no entries in the log, even after deactivation no change.

Meanwhile I did go back to a snapshot from 2008 of this machine - but 
even now, neither manual install using install_flash_player_32bit.exe 
nor via wpkg works. Installation shows "100% - Fertig" and it's not
there. Really strange, but not essential ... I can wait for next 
flash_player 11 version :)
