I agree that having this bug marked as fixed was misleading. The reason was
that the change of Keith Jones have been implemented and even a release with
these changes has been done.

But soon after people noticed that due to blocking behavior of the
"AtEndOfStream" call the timeout feature was broken. So changes were reverted.
I've tried many many work-arounds (I think back then I've spent around 3 days
of try-and-error implementation) before I accepted that there seems to be no
clean solution to this issue using WSH. So marking it as "wontfix" - or more
precisely "can't fix" could help people understand the issue. Adding this
"known issue" to the FAQ should help too.
