[sheepdog-users] Is SheepDog still an active project?

Hello,

I'm currently using ceph for block devices and object storage and I'm very interested in what sheepdog is doing.  It seems to be a lighter weight solution then ceph for the same target use of primarily qemu block storge for VMs.

I'm considering testing it out but I'm a bit concerned that there does not seem to be a reasonable level of development and user traction at the moment.  Is this an active project or is it starting to lose some ground?
