I understand that unlike the rdwr backing store, the AIO backing store 
is also part of the new framework.
If this is indeed the case, isn't that a bit of over-engineering...? the 
only thing required for it to work is
libaio which is commodity, nothing special. Can we make a little turn 
here and make bs_aio built in?
